Massar Stables, 1387 Orr Rd, Arlington Tn 38002

Massar Stables invites you to join our exciting and expanding community of equestrians who enjoy dressage, and want to board and train in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.  We have a covered arena so that weather does not prevent us from riding and some of the best footing you can find for the comfort of your horse.  We encourage youth riders to master the basics of dressage which enables them to pursue any discipline with confidence.

What makes "dressage" right for you?

Dressage is a French term that means "training".  It's goal is to develop the horse's natural ability and willingness while being supple and attentive to the rider, therefore this type of training is great for all disciplines (hunters, jumpers, western ...).  It teaches the rider a balanced seat, correct rider position and improved communication with the horse.

For those wanting to compete, dressage offers classes that correspond with the level of training of the rider and/or the horse.  Most breeds can be successful in the dressage arena, as well as ponies.
